With Valentine's Day around the corner those of you who have extra cash to spare might have started looking high and low for a romantic getaway. Here are 14 romantic destinations around the world compiled by CNN Travel.

Oh yes, Paris, Bora Bora, Bali etc! And they miss one, Maldives!!

kyh: YEA that's why I secretly inserted Maldives myself at the bottom of the article, lol.

There are a few other destinations that deserve a mention on that list actually.

From all of this places, i prefer Paris...it is the most romantic place for me.
